Unfortuntetely recently we experienced technical difficulties with our previous website, which led us to move to a new platform. Currently the site contains only basic information and features, but will be updated constantly.

Information Evening on the 8th September at 19:00

UNSA would like to invite you and your friends to our Information Evening on Wednesday the 8th of September at 19:00 in the lecture hall of the Minderbroedersberg on the ground floor (for a map, click here) At the Information evening we will explain you our aims and mission. Therefore, the board and the different committees will introduce themselves and give you an idea what you can expect and achieve as a member of UNSA Maastricht. The UNSA offers you the possibilities to get to know the United Nations, to deepen your understanding of international issues and global problems. And, most importantly, we practice to influence them one day ourselves – may it be through economics, politics, law or sciences. This is why with us, you can learn debating, writing, organizing or simply enjoying the company of interesting and like-minded people. If you want to become a member of our association, there will be the possibility to pay the membership fee of 15 Euros directly after the Information Evening. Also, the board and the committee heads will gladly answer to all your questions and go with you for a drink at a bar close by. All of UNSA is looking forward to welcome you and all of your friends at the Mindersbroedersberg on the 8th of September, 19:00! It is my privilege to welcome you to the United Nations Student Association Maastricht. The opportunities for you in the United Nations Student Association are endless, whether you joined the association in order to learn more about the United Nations, to meet new people, participate in student conferences abroad, or wish to shape Europe’s second largest Model United Nations, there is sure to be something for you to do. Throughout the year the United Nations Student Association organizes a host of different activities, from workshops, lectures, debates, excursions and foreign MUNs to parties and charity programs which you are free to attend. One of the most important aspects of the United Nations Student Association are its committees. This is where the active members of the UNSA work. Whether you wish to organize trips, enhance your journalism skills, help raise funds or participate in the organization of EuroMUN, there will most certainly be a committee for you. If you are interested in joining one of these committees, just ask anyone from the organization, we will be happy to provide further information. I would also like to use this opportunity to heartily welcome you to our first General Members Assembly of this academic year, which will take place on the 8th of September in the Minderbroedersberg at 18:00.
